The Ultimate Choice of SQD-Mini LED TV. Technology That Redefines What's Possible.
Experience television at its absolute best with the TCL 98C8L 98-inch Premium SQD-Mini LED Google TV. As TCL's 2026 flagship, the C8L represents a quantum leap in display engineering—combining Super Quantum Dot Mini LED technology, 2584 precise dimming zones, and up to 5500 nits of HDR brightness to deliver picture quality that rivals commercial cinemas .
SQD-Mini LED: The Next Generation of Display Technology
SQD-Mini LED (Super Quantum Dot Mini LED) places quantum dots directly onto the LED chip, achieving purer colors, higher energy efficiency, and unprecedented uniformity across the entire screen . This is not an incremental upgrade—it's a revolutionary leap that eliminates color cross-talk and delivers stable, vivid colors in every scene, whether monochrome or bursting with color .
2584 Precise Dimming Zones with All-Domain Halo Control
The 98C8L features 2584 precise local dimming zones, giving you microscopic control over the backlight . TCL's All-domain Halo Control Technology uses a new generation of Powerful Light-emitting Chips, Super Condensed Micro Lenses, and Micro-OD to eliminate blooming and sculpt light with incredible precision . The result? Deep, OLED-like blacks alongside searingly bright whites, with details revealed in both the darkest shadows and the brightest highlights.
Up to 5500 Nits HDR Brightness
Even in the brightest living rooms, the C8L maintains a stunning picture. With up to 5500 nits of peak HDR brightness on the 98-inch model, HDR content is reproduced with breathtaking realism—sunlight gleams, explosions ignite, and every detail stays visible without aggressive tone-mapping compromises .
WHVA 2.0 Ultra Panel for Unmatched Contrast
The CSOT WHVA 2.0 Ultra Panel uses nanoscale bionic technology, integrating polyimide into liquid crystal molecules to form a unique butterfly-wing microstructure . This delivers a native contrast ratio 3 to 5 times that of ordinary screens, complemented by a 0.5% low-reflection film that minimizes glare and presents pristine images with razor-sharp details from any seat
100% BT.2020 Wide Color Gamut
The C8L's Super QLED technology delivers up to 100% coverage of the BT.2020 color gamut—the broadcast standard for next-generation HDR content . Reds are richer, greens more natural, and blues deeper than anything you've seen on a consumer television. Bionic Color Optimization Technology preserves natural skin tones while enhancing scenery for exceptional realism .
Audio by Bang & Olufse
The C8L doesn't just look premium—it sounds extraordinary. Audio by Bang & Olufsen brings a century of acoustic expertise to your living room, with the same engineers who design B&O's iconic speakers tuning the TV's sound system . Combined with Dolby Atmos and DTS Premium Sound, you get a cinematic audio experience with rich detail, natural tone, and three-dimensional sound. The Beosonic feature lets you adjust the sound mood in real time .
144Hz Native Refresh Rate: Built for Gamers
From signal processing to display, the C8L supports a true 144Hz native refresh rate, with VRR Game Accelerator boosting up to 288Hz under supported conditions . With AMD FreeSync Premium Pro, ALLM, and four HDMI 2.1 ports, gamers enjoy smooth, tear-free gameplay with responsive performance .
Google TV: Smarter Entertainment
Running on Google TV with 3GB RAM and 64GB storage, the C8L brings all your apps and recommendations together in one intuitive interface . Access Netflix, YouTube, Prime Video, and thousands more. Google Assistant voice control makes finding content effortless, while Chromecast built-in and Apple AirPlay support let you stream from any device .
Ultra-Slim, Virtually ZeroBorder Design
Thanks to Micro-OD and one-piece molding, the C8L achieves an incredibly slim profile. The Virtually ZeroBorder design maximizes screen space for a truly immersive viewing experience, blending beautifully into any modern living space .

We install it properly. Delivered, unboxed, positioned, connected and tested with you before we leave. Not a box dropped at your door.
We service what we sell. Twelve months from us, with our own technicians. Where a brand adds a longer manufacturer warranty, the product page says so. No third-party service centre to chase.
We stock the parts. Drain pumps, door seals, heating elements — we keep them and we'll tell you what a repair costs before you commit to it.
We'll tell you when not to buy. If your water pressure won't run a front loader, or the machine is too big for your kitchen, we'd rather say so now than deal with it after delivery.
Genuine units, sourced directly from the manufacturer.
